From circuit boards to design boards. A not-so-linear tale of curiosity
From circuits to screens
Studied Engineering. I had no big plan, so moved to the UAE and found myself managing operations at a company. Somewhere along the way, I helped lead a small catering app project for corporate clients.
That experience didn’t feel like much then, but it planted a seed. I came back to Bangalore, hungry to figure out what “design” even meant. Took a 6-month UI/UX course, crashed Figma more times than I can count, and interned at 9Bits to learn by doing.
That’s when things started to click.
Headless & Hands-On
If you imagine a place where designers are doing UI in the morning, shooting a video ad by lunch, and storyboarding animations by tea - that was Headless Hippies.
Worked on brands like Duroflex, Solis, Rane t4u, and HomeGuru. Did User Interviews, played with typography, tried my hand at animation, helped with photoshoots, and even learned how not to break Illustrator.
This is where I discovered that design isn’t just about screens - it’s storytelling, systems, vibes, and making sense of madness.
Scaling up at Netbramha
I worked on complex, long-term product engagements like Expent, Yubi, and Appveen -platforms. In shorter sprints, I focused on visual polish. But in these deeper projects, I stepped into the Product Designer role - mapping journeys, building systems, and designing with scale in mind.
Learned how to work fast, iterate faster, and keep things clean (even with 18 open Figma tabs).
Designing beyond the screen
Co-founded Yellow Care, a healthcare platform that helped families access professional nursing services and rent medical equipment online.
I led the design across the board - from branding to service flows to the full website experience. We built a functioning product and worked directly with users. It didn’t go big, but it taught me everything about designing beyond the screen.
The current chapter
Still designing. Still learning. Still figuring things out - just with better instincts, cleaner Figma files, and way more Auto Layout.
I’m currently freelancing full-time - working with teams like SEEK, Wipro, and Ontrac to design clean, scalable digital products
